3-month journal, A5 size, 175 pages, premium 100gsm FSC paper, soft-touch vegan-friendly cover, lie-flat binding.
Keeping a gratitude journal is a scientifically-proven happiness practice. With 3 months' worth of daily entries, our teenage journal was created to help guide young people (and adults!) to develop long lasting, positive habits alongside a resilient mindset during a naturally changing time in their lives.
In just a few minutes a day, this journal will give the teen in your life the tools to move past stress quickly with confidence, self-awareness and self-belief, both at home and at school.
Our beautifully designed, completely unique pages are filled with thought-provoking activities and challenges to help teenagers to express gratitude, reflect on their emotions that day or just take a quiet moment for themselves.
- Premium FSC paper to ensure a joyful but robust writing experience
- Structured daily pages to guide your teen through the journaling process with plenty of space for free journaling
- All pages are completely unique and beautifully illustrated
- Undated so it can be started at any time of the year - it doesn’t matter if you skip a day
- Elastic strap and ribbon to keep the journal private and to bookmark each page
- The journal has a lie-flat binding to make it easy to write in
- Super-soft vegan-friendly cover
HappyMe Junior edition
The age range is 6 to 12 based around what my own children would enjoy and be able to do. Depending on your child’s reading and writing abilities they may need some guidance at the younger end of the scale. There is flexibility and I have had good feedback from parents buying it for 3 to 5 year olds as well as young teens (and adults).
The journal has been designed to have little writing and there is plenty of space for different handwriting styles or drawing. The paper quality can cope with a range of pencils and pens.
I highly recommend you fill out the journal with your child, even acting as scribe if your child is tired or dislikes writing, so that the emphasis can be on the conversation and reflection rather than the act of writing.
Available in yellow and a range of limited edition colours.
Translated into Dutch, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish.
HappyMe Journal 12+ Edition
HappyMe Junior Edition
The journal has three months of daily journaling pages and a section at the front they can fill out at any time. Children are encouraged to fill out their journal every day but as the pages aren't dated it is possible to do it at your own rhythm and easy to keep going should you miss a day.
Three months is an ideal length as it's similar to a school term and so feels achievable for the children to establish their new daily journaling habit. When testing the kids preferred this length and a longer book would have been too bulky or heavy for small hands.
Continuation editions (which last for six months) will be coming out from mid 2020 but for now children are repeating the same journal on completion which is a nice way to reinforce the gratitude practice and growth mindset principles.
HappyMe Journal 12+ Edition
This journal also has three months of daily journaling pages and a section that can be filled out at any time at the front. It also introduces a weekly structure with pages to preview and review the week.
This journal has more space for free journaling on the daily pages.

We aim to ship orders within 1-2 business days from our US warehouse.
Due to increased volumes at our warehouse and challenging working conditions the postal and courier services are experiencing delays. It may take 3-5 days for your order to leave our warehouse at peak times. Delivery times are also less predictable and may take longer. Please be patient if your parcel hasn't arrived yet and leave enough time before getting in touch with us. Unfortunately once your parcel is in the postal system there is nothing we can do to speed things up!
Thank you so much for your understanding during these unprecedented times.
If you have any questions about your order please email email@example.com and we'll be happy to help.
If you are a retailer who is interested in stocking the journal please email firstname.lastname@example.org. We are currently only stocking those with a physical retail presence.
Good question! :-)
The HappyMe Journal is the US edition of The HappySelf Journal and both are published by HappySelf Ltd a UK based company. The US is the only region we sell our journal as The HappyMe Journal.
This edition is exactly the same inside and has been edited to reflect US English spellings.
Funnily enough HappyMe was one of the original names we had picked for our journal back when we started work on it in 2017 so it's nice to have it out with this name after all!
